We are hiring:


Clements' Marketplace seeks a highly motivated baker for our in-store bakery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Bake and prepare products for the department.

  • Monitor the freshness of products and manage inventory.

  • Prepare food in large volume and read/convert recipes.

  • Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines. Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.

  • Work closely with other staff members to maintain the department goals.

This position may perform other duties as required.



  • Previous working experience in a bakery or culinary field preferred.

  • Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.

  • Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.

Part time Deli / Kitchen Clerks:

Cooking experience a plus. We are looking to fill opening or closing shifts (store opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 9:00 p.m.).

Duties Include:

  • Ensuring that meat is weighed, priced and wrapped appropriately.

  • Providing superior customer service at the deli counter, preparing sandwiches and deli salads and other duties as assigned.

  • Preparing foods in our kitchen for the deli, grab & go section, and hot foods bars.

  • Adhering to rigorous food safety standards.

  • This position will perform other duties as required.

Cafe Clerks (Morning):

Duties Include:

Providing superior customer service at our cafe counter. Also includes preparing products, stocking necessary areas, department cleaning, and following all necessary food safety stands. This position perform other duties as required.

Produce Clerks (Day):

Duties Include:

Filling items for display, product rotation, assisting customers with product location and general cleaning of the department.

Meat/Seafood Clerks (Evening):

Duties Include:

  • Filling meat/seafood case for display.

  • Product rotation.

  • Assisting customers with product location and items in the meat/seafood case.

  • General product preparation.

  • Cleaning of the department.
